Introduction:

We worked with P17 to plan and execute the first ever Project 17 Cup. The tournament, held on June 25th, brought together ten competitive teams, including media platforms like Versus, Ballers In God, and 90s Babies, grassroots teams Baiteze Squad, B2R Starz, RCVI and charity team The CM Trust. This event had a great turnout with over 200 people gathering to see their favourite players and personalities compete for the P17 Cup trophy.

Objective:

The primary goal of the Project 17 Cup was to create an engaging tournament that enabled fans to connect with their favorite players and influencers while spectating a highly competitive football tournament. Our aim was to create a moment where Alex can engage with his community and create more content to show his charitable side.

Results:

The Project 17 Cup exceeded expectations, resulting in a highly successful community event. The gathering of over 200 people showcased the strong engagement and support from the local community. Attendees had the opportunity to meet and take pictures with their favorite players and influencers, witness thrilling matches, and experience a vibrant atmosphere.

The partnership with Wingstop added value to the event, enhancing the overall experience for participants. Attendees enjoyed quality food and hospitality services, further contributing to the positive reception of the tournament.
